🕌 Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple
The most impressive Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere, right in central Nadi. The colourful gopuram (tower) is visible from the road. Non-Hindus are welcome; modest dress required (sarongs available at the entrance). Covered on our Cultural Night Tour.
🌺 Garden of the Sleeping Giant
A stunning botanical garden in the Sabeto foothills showcasing over 2,000 varieties of tropical orchids. Originally established by actor Raymond Burr. A peaceful half-day stop easily combined with a visit to the nearby Sabeto Hot Springs.
🛒 Nadi Municipal Market
Where locals actually shop. Ground floor: fresh tropical produce, kava root, roti bread and spices. Upper floor: traditional handicrafts, bula shirts and sarongs at much better prices than resort shops. Best visited in the morning.
🏖️ Denarau Island
10 minutes from central Nadi, Denarau is Fiji's purpose-built resort island — home to 8 major resorts, Port Denarau Marina (departure point for Mamanuca cruises), and a growing strip of restaurants and bars. A useful base for touring the region.
